Festive Mermaid Gin cocktail recipes for you to try this Christmas

#1 Spiced Clemengin

What you will need:
37.5ml Mermaid Gin
25ml Spiced Clementine Syrup
12.5ml Lime Juice
Dash of Amaretto
1 Sprig Rosemary
Fevertree Clementine & Cinnamon Tonic

Method:
Shake & strain into a highball filled with crushed ice. Garnish with clementine zest and a sprig of rosemary.

These three videos are our small tribute to the ‘King of Cocktails’ Dick Bradsell, who sadly died on 27th February 2016. He was an acknowledged legend in the bar world, being responsible for creating many international favourites including the three cocktails that we have chosen to make in these video: The Bramble, The Wibble and perhaps his most famous the Espresso Martini.

Dick was a fellow Islander having spent his formative years on the isle of Wight before leaving to make his name as well as many new drinks that are now considered modern classics.

We hope that you enjoy these short tutorials and have a go at making these delicious drinks, whilst perhaps toasting our fellow Islander who created them. Enjoy!

The Bramble

50ml Mermaid Gin
12.5ml Lemon Juice
12.5ml Gomme Syrup
25 ml Creme de Mure
Method:
Shake & strain the first three ingredients into a crushed ice filled rocks glass. Drizzle in the Creme de Mure & garnish with fresh blackberries.

The Wibble

25ml HMS Victory Navy Strength Gin
25ml Homemade IW Sloe Gin
25ml Pink Grapefruit Juice
12.5ml Lemon Juice
12.5ml Creme de Mure
12.5ml Gomme Syrup
Method:
Shake & fine strain all ingredients into a chilled martini glass, garnish with a lemon twist.

(Salted Caramel) Espresso Martini

50ml Rock Sea Vodka
25ml Tia Maria
12.5ml Caramel Syrup
25ml Chilled Espresso Coffee
Method:
Shake & fine strain all ingredients into a chilled martini glass, garnish with dried coffee beans.
